Joe Pa - one Tough Mofo!

Running over your 78-year old legend of a coach because you were looking the other way probably isn't the best way to get promoted to the starting squad. For the record, the lineman on the left is 6'4 and 260lbs.  Joe Pa is one spry dude (and he's got Penn State at 8-1!). Story here.

Those poor smurf bastards

To someone at UNICEF, dropping bombs on the little blue folk makes for good fundraising ads. Their Belgain spokesperson (the ad is only being shown in Belgium) had the following to say:

"Seventy per cent [of reactions] are positive, but with some people we are having a hard time explaining why we are using this."
